Montmartre is the neighbourhood of artists; it's a very charming and picturesque place that you shouldn't miss during your stay in Paris.
In the past there were a lot of windmills and vineyards, then it became a quarter where artists like Picasso, Van Gogh and Renoir used to live because they could find a cheap place to stay. Today it still conserves its narrow streets and the image of a typical Parisian neighbourhood with lots and lots of cafés, squares but also famous monuments such as the Sacre Coeur Church.
This tour is perfect for younger children and their parents: our kid-friendly guide will lead you through the narrow streets making your kids have fun by exploring the area, going up the hill to Sacre Coeur by funiculair and descending by foot. They'll tell you interesting stories about the history of the quarter, showing you also examples of windmills and vineyards, but also some particular artwork, such as the Amelie Poulin grocery store, the “Passer Through Walls“, Saint Denis Square, the “I love you” wall and many other very Parisian places.
The highlight of the tour is obviously Sacre Coeur Church. While admiring this wonderful building from the outside your guide will share all of its secrets with you before going inside.
Montmartre is surely one of the most amazing quarters of Paris and a must for your family holiday!
